Who You Are:The Unit Manager assists Nursing Leadership in managing, coordinating, and maintaining an efficient, productive, and organized nursing department. The unit manager shall have administrative authority over and responsibility for the functions and activities of their assigned shift. The unit manager demonstrates knowledge of and delivers care in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act in the State in which they are employed.   • Current nursing license.
  • Three years of nursing management experience in senior care preferred.
  • Geriatric/rehabilitation experience with a good understanding of restorative nursing.
  • Thorough knowledge of state and federal regulations.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Experienced with MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint
  • Demonstrate the highest level of customer/client services and response.
  • CPR Certification.
