exciting opportunity for an Experienced Electrical Design and
Analysis Engineer for the Flight Simulation Labs - Hardware
Interface Systems team located in Berkeley, MO .The Flight
Simulation Labs organization has expertise supporting marketing,
design, development, integration, test and training objectives for
Boeing military aircraft.As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will
create and implement solutions to complex problems that support
design, development, and execution of simulation environments in
development labs for the F/A-18 program. This position will support
the project execution for the full product design life cycle
including: requirements, design, acceptance test procedures, and
associated engineering maintenance support. This position is
expected to be 100% onsite and engaged with our customers and the
product. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at
one of the listed location options.Position Responsibilities:
- Works with customers to develop and document complex electronic
and electrical system requirements.
- Analyzes and translates requirements into system, hardware and
software designs and interface specifications.
- Tests and validates to ensure system designs meet operational
and functional requirements.
- Monitors supplier performance to ensure system integration and
compliance with requirements.
- Solves problems concerning and provides other support of
fielded hardware and software over the entire product
lifecycle.
- Research specific technology advances for potential application
to company business needs. This position is expected to be 100%
onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at
one of the listed location options.This position requires the
ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US
Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment. An
interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is
required.Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):
- Currently possess a Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate of
Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering,
computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistryPreferred
Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Electrical Engineering experience
- Experience in avionics, electrical, and/or a mission systems
role
- Experience developing or integrating avionics or mission
systems
- Experience in Agile Software Development and JIRA
- Experience managing projects and utilizing standard project
management toolsTypical Education/Experience: Education/experience
typically acquired through advanced technical education from an
accredited course of study in engineering, computer science,
mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5
or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination
of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years'
related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the
preferred, although not required, accreditation
standard.Relocation:This position offers relocation based on
