your future with us. Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is
hiring a Mid-level Radar Systems Analysis Engineer to join our team
in Berkeley, MO.The F/A-18 Active Electronically Scanned Array
(AESA) Radar Team, (part of Sensor & Special Programs - Sensors
Capability) in the Mission Systems capability, is seeking a
motivated mid- level engineer for an assignment working Radar
Analysis to support development of advanced capabilities for the
state-of-the-art Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA)
AN/APG-79(V) Radar subsystem. This Radar System Analyst will join a
diverse team of system, subsystem, integration, software and test
engineers. Position Responsibilities:
- Support trade studies, modeling, simulation and other forms of
analysis to predict system performance and optimize system design
around established requirements
- Support tests to validate performance of design to
requirements
- Perform Lab/Flight data analysis of supplier and partner
system/subsystem development and performance to ensure compliance
to requirementsDomestic travel may be required up to 10% of the
time.This position is expected to be 100% on site. The selected
candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed
location options.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study
in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing
engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data
science, or computer science
- 5+ years of working experience with a Bachelor's OR 3+ years
with a Master's OR a PhDPreferred Qualifications (Desired
Skills/Experience):
- Previous Radar analysis experience, including knowledge of
advanced mathematical principles as applied to aerospace analysis
and modeling and domain expertise/experience modeling systems at
appropriate levels of fidelity
- Previous experience with modeling and prototyping tools (e.g.,
MATLAB, Simulink, MathCAD, etc.)
- Good written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team
environmentTypical Education/Experience: Education/experience
typically acquired through advanced technical education from an
accredited course of study in engineering, computer science,
mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5
or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination
of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years'
related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the
preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.Drug Free
