Job Description:
A company is looking for a Pre-Certification Representative
responsible for obtaining and providing accurate data input for
precertification/preauthorization from insurance companies.
Key Responsibilities
Obtain pre-certification for services by effectively communicating
with insurance companies
Verify medical insurance information and maintain confidentiality
of patient data
Review claim denials and accurately enter patient data into the
computer system
Required Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent required
Minimum of 2-3 years of healthcare or physician's office experience
in handling pre-authorizations
Extensive knowledge of individual payor websites and medical
terminology
Proficiency with MS Office, including basic Excel skills
Experience with GE Centricity or EPIC PB preferred
