GIS Specialist/Developer

V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a GIS Specialist/Developer for our premier client in St. Louis, Missouri.

Education and Experience - Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, Computer Science, or a related field
Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS is a plus.
Proficiency in Python scripting for GIS workflows and automation.
Experience with ArcGIS Experience Builder and widget customization.
Exposure to GIS concepts, tools, and applications, with a focus on web-based GIS solutions.
Strong problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve project goals.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.


WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Job Responsibilities: Write, interpret, and maintain Python scripts to support GIS workflows and automation.
Configure and maintain web maps and applications using ArcGIS tools, including ArcGIS Experience Builder.
Develop and customize widgets for ArcGIS Experience Builder to enhance user functionality.
Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver quality solutions.
Ensure timely and successful execution of assigned tasks within GIS projects.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to GIS applications, scripts, and data.
Document workflows, processes, and project outcomes for future reference.
