anticipated starting salary range for this position is $100,000 to
$135,000/yr. Salary to be determined by the education, experience,
knowledge, skills, abilities and location of the applicant, as well

insurance.The Opportunity:The Director of Human Resources is an
integral part of our Employee Relations team. In conjunction with
the central HR team, the HR Director ensures the execution and
success of HR plans, programs and practices for their specific
business groups within Audacy. The ideal candidate is a master of
building and maintaining truly authentic consultative relationships
and strategic partnerships with employees and managers, including C
Suite level executives. Must be a true collaborator with office
coordinators, office support staff and IT. The candidate has
coached employees at all levels, and is quick to become a trusted
advisor. The ideal candidate has deep experience working with
unions, in employee relations, change management, coaching,
mentoring, mediating, policy implementation, internal
communications and more.This position is a hands-on leadership role
with some direct reports and has the opportunity to support a book
of local markets as well as corporate central teams. Part of the
employee base includes high profile talent across radio, streaming
and podcasts. As a member of the central HR team, there are
opportunities for this position to also lead certain company-wide
HR initiatives and projects.ResponsibilitiesWhat You'll Do:
- Provides guidance and advice on employee relations matters,
ensuring successful partnerships with leadership and employees
alike across the organization.
- Consults and supports managers, while ensuring fair and
respectful treatment of team members.
- Coaches and advises management on performance management and
disciplinary matters.
- Conducts thorough, objective, prompt investigations on employee
relations matters.
- Point of contact for employees and managers on company
policies, programs and initiatives.
- Advises and implements employment terminations.
- Implements various projects and policies in conjunction with
the central HR team and other key stakeholders, as they arise such
as employee orientation and onboarding, mentorship programs,
performance management, talent development, etc.
- Guides and supports local HR administrative staff with weekly
meetings to address and resolve questions and ensure HR initiatives
are executed.
- Partners with legal, finance, HR and management to facilitate
various workforce initiatives such as reduction in force,
restructures, acquisitions, etc.
- Ensures understanding, consistent application, and compliance
of defined policies, programs and procedures and all state and
local employment laws.
- Partners with management, Marketing, Employee Engagement
Committee on value added strategic priorities such as employee
culture initiatives, employee surveys, diversity, equity and
inclusion and more.QualificationsMore About You:Required &
Preferred:
- At least 5-10 years' experience in Human Resources, Employee
Relations and Employee Engagement
- Experience with collective bargaining agreements and working
with high profile talent
- Union experience required
- Media experience strongly preferred
- Must possess knowledge of all state and local ordinances
related to employment, as well as federal laws across the United
States
- Skilled in coaching, mentoring and mitigating challenging
employee issues, including performance management and performance
improvement plans and terminations
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, along
with the ability to manage multiple and competing demands.
- Track record of leadership, driving accountability across the
HR function, and a hands-on approach to problem solving.
- Ability to build trust and good faith with a broad range of
stakeholders
- Value-oriented behavior - trustworthiness, good listener, high
