Senior Payroll Specialist for our Corporate Headquarters in St.
Louis, MO.
Primary Responsibilities
Provide guidance and assistance to other members of the team and
serve as back-up support.
Lead the processing of weekly certified payroll on all customer
requested forms and standard forms as requested.
Collective bargaining monthly reporting.
Manages the internal and external audit requests pertaining to
payroll.
Maintains all collective bargaining agreements, wage rates, benefit
rates, and employee clear-ins.
Maintain accurate employee records.
Maintain company level tables for local union records, home local
records, and fringe and wage tables.
Routine time and payroll record audits.
Weekly internal labor reporting.
Calculate and prepare layoff / termination checks.
Oversee all union audits.
Process accurate and timely year-end reporting when necessary.
Responsible for all reconciliations related to union fringes and
deductions.
Compile complex reports as required by management, union, and
government agencies regarding employee payroll issues.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years payroll experience within the construction
industry.
Construction multi-state and multi-Union payroll experience,
required.
FPC or CPP designation, preferred.
Well versed in Microsoft Excel, pivot tables, and data
analysis.
Thrives in a fast paced, diverse team environment.
Experience with Timberline/SAGE 300/CMIC Payroll is a plus.
