of a team; recognizes the importance of group goals. Performs
designated clinical procedures and nonclinical support tasks
essential to providing care to the patient. Performs all duties and
responsibilities in a manner consistent with our Mission, Values,
and Mercy Service Standards. -Clinical Competence
- Provide compassionate care to all patients
- Demonstrate proper radiation protection to self, patients and
other
- Demonstrate proficiency in technical factors of image
production -Communication
- Demonstrate communication skills through patient rapport,
awareness, and interaction
- Educate the patient about the imaging procedures
- Effectively communicate with radiologists, radiographers and
other healthcare professionals -Critical Thinking
- Correctly select exposure factors for various patient
conditions to produce optimal image quality
- Demonstrate the skills necessary to perform non-routine
procedures
- Students can recognize trauma patient conditions and initiate
appropriate treatments -Professionalism
- Demonstrate punctuality to room assignments and
proceduresUtilize good judgement and discretion while performing
examsQualifications: -Minimum Required Qualifications -
- Education: Applicants must be a graduate of an accredited high
school or equivalent and maintained a 2.5 or better grade point
average.
- ACT/standardized testing scores are requested.
- An associate's (or more advanced) degree, or a completion
associate's/baccalaureate degree program in Radiography is required
prior to applying.
