Sign on Bonus for Experienced Nurses - up to $10,000 -WEO Premium: $20/hour!! - -Proposed Schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday - Nights, 7pm-7am -The Medical Surgical unit, also known as Med-Surg, is a specialty unit that makes up the foundation of nursing. - The Medical Surgical unit at Mercy South is a unit that manages acute medical surgical patients with a wide range of diagnoses and care needs. - Functionally, this unit houses and cares for patients who are preparing for or recovering from medical and surgical interventions. - This can include care of patients with illnesses such as pneumonia and sepsis; as well as pre and post op management of pain, wound care, and monitoring for any complications post procedure. - The Med-Surg unit also manages chronic conditions such as diabetes, COPD, and chronic kidney disease. - Service lines include oncology, nephrology, urology, gastroenterology, and many more. -Given the generalized nature of the Med-Surg unit and the amount of variation in patient conditions, the acuity of patients vary. - -Incentives and Benefits

    • Required Education: Nursing Degree from an accredited RN program.
    • Preferred Education: BSN
    • License: current RN license in the state of MO.
