Additional Information About the Role
- Up to $15,000 Sign-On Bonus
- Full-Time (36hrs/week)
- This 36-hour position will be rotating between four 8 hour
shifts one week and five 8 hours shifts the other week.
- No Weekends or Holidays
- Hours: 7:00am - 3:30pm/7:30am - 4:00pm/8:00am to 4:30pm

Outpatient Infusion Center
- The Outpatient Infusion Center at Barnes-Jewish Hospital
provides comprehensive IV therapy for various medical conditions in
a comfortable setting. Located at the Center for Advanced Medicine
and other facilities, it offers specialized treatments for allergy,
immunology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, rheumatology, and
cancer care, with continuous monitoring and physician coordination.
Additional services are available at the Siteman Cancer Center and
through BJC Home Care, ensuring patients receive high-quality
infusion therapy in convenient locations. BJC Registered Nurse

Overview
Barnes-Jewish Hospital at Washington University Medical Center is

Credentialing Center. The Department of Ambulatory Services at
Barnes-Jewish Hospital consists of the multidisciplinary staff of
BJH Ambulatory Services including responsibility for the GI Labs,
Minor Procedure Center, Pain Management Center, Diabetes Center,
Resident Clinics, Wound/Ostomy Center and other services as
assigned. This department assures that all customers receive the
highest level of attention and prompt, courteous service.
Preferred Qualifications
Role Purpose Provides direct patient care activities including
assessment, diagnosis, planning implementation, and evaluation
within the guidelines of the standards of nursing care.
Responsibilities
- Promotes patient and family centered care in a healing
environment. Educates patients and their families on how to manage
their illness or injury, including post treatment home care needs
and medication administration.
- Participates in activities that promote patient safety, quality
and regulatory compliance. Participates in professional
development.
- Develops, implements, and documents individual plans of care
with defined goals in collaboration with other members of the
interprofessional team and patient, family or caregiver in
accordance with the established guidelines and standards of nursing
care. Proactively plans and ensures communication of the plan of
care across the continuum of care.
- Uses critical nursing skills to assess and evaluate physical,
psychosocial, and emotional needs according to standards of care.
Assess patient preferences and barriers to involvement in care,
including their values, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and
population-specific needs.
- BJC has determined this is a safety-sensitive position. The
ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe
manner is an essential function of this job. Minimum Requirements
Education
- Nursing Diploma/Associate's - Nursing Experience
- No Experience Supervisor Experience
- No Experience Licenses & Certifications
- RN Preferred Requirements Education
- Bachelor's Degree - Nursing Experience
