This person will have a genuine interest in geriatric care and be able to motivate while maintaining relationships with staff and residents.   • Assists residents with dressing, grooming, eating, positioning, toileting, bathing, and exercising
  • Assists residents in and out of bed or wheelchair with proper transfer equipment.
  • Records vital signs, nourishment logs, and other patient records as necessary.
  • Maintains organized and fully stocked bedside unit.
  • Changes linens, make beds, and keeps resident rooms tidy.
  • Responds to all call lights promptly.
  • Assists in assuring the maximum quality of life for all residents.Requirements:
    • High School or GED Degree required.
    • Active CNA License.
    • Registration with the State registry is required.
    • Exhibits well-developed communication skills.
    • Can professionally receive and follow oral instructions in English.
