• PRN Requirement:
  • Work 36 hours in 6 week period (3 x 12hr shifts)
    • 1 of 3 must be weekend shift
    • 1 summer, 1 winter holiday -Incentives and Benefits:

Working at the Hospice House provides our Mercy Hospice nurses the opportunity to connect and engage with their patients and families in a truly meaningful way. - -Qualifications: -Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN)Licensure: Current RN license in Missouri required. Must be a licensed driver.Certifications: Possesses and maintains current BLS CPR certification.Preferred Experience: Recent hospice or long term care experience preferred. Experience with issues related to death/dying and bereavement preferred. One year general nursing experience preferred.Other: Complies with accepted professional standards and practice. Understands Hospice philosophy; principles related to death and dying and pain management. Has excellent observation, good nursing assessment and communication skills. Has excellent computer skills with the ability to provide good documentation within an electronic medical record and submits in a timely manner. Is self-directed with the ability to work with little supervision.
