Job Title: Registered Nurse - Night Shift Job Specialty: Step Down Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift, 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years required, experience at the bedside within the last 6 months License: Valid State License required at time of submission Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Must-Have: - Experience with titration of vasopressors, sedation medication, insulin drips - Experience with trach vents, art lines, external pacemakers, chest tubes - EPIC charting experience Job Description: - Work in the Step Down Unit with a patient care ratio of 1:4. - Committed to a 36-hour work week with every other weekend required; for night shift, this could be Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday. - No on-call required; clinician may float within scope to meet facility needs. - Locals not accepted within 75-mile radius; no local travelers allowed, except for specified roles. - Requires two supervisory references within the last two years at the time of submittal. - Candidates will float within the hospital or to affiliate hospitals nearby. - Must have experience in ventilators, titration of pressors, and insulin drips. - Completion of pre-start modules is required for RNs and LVNs.
