- Preferred QualificationsRole PurposeManage children behaviors,
organize and maintain data and equipment for programs/projects,
educate parents/patients for the audiology and cochlear implant
programs. -Responsibilities
- Manage patient behaviors for Conditioned Play Audiometry and
Visual Reinforcement Audiometry while in- servicing
parents/patients on care and maintenance on devises
- Trouble shoot audiologic equipment--arrange for
repair/replacement as necessary while maintaining inventory of
supplies for clinical areas (booths, dispensary)
- Oversee/Document toy cleaning and infection control TO ensure
that all equipment and instruments are cleaned and kept in good
repair.
- Responsible for all maintenance, inventory and dispensing of
hearing aids and cochlear implants.
- Responsible for insurance authorizations and medical clearance
from physicians for hearing aids and other devices.Minimum
