TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Saint Louis, Missouri, 63128 Pay Information $1,912 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: ICU Job Duration: 8-13 weeks Shift: Nights, 19:00-07:30 Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 48 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 1 year in ICU License: Current RN License (eligible for licensure in the state where the position is located) Certifications: BLS and ACLS from AHA, NIHSS Must-Have: 1 year of inpatient ICU experience Job Description: - Provide direct patient care in a Neurologic Intensive Care Unit. - Maintain professional accountability for the provision of patient care. - Collaborate with other healthcare providers to optimize patient care and comfort. - Perform assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. - Care for patients with neuro, trauma, and surgical conditions. - Utilize equipment such as bedside telemetry, ventilators, and arterial lines. - Float to other units as needed based on staffing requirements. - Comply with flu vaccination requirements from November 1 to April 1. - Maintain patient rights and confidentiality. - Work in accordance with the nursing process and established guidelines of nursing practice. - Stand and walk most of the time during shifts. - Meet unit-specific physical demands, including bending, stooping, lifting, and turning patients with assistance. - Evaluate the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers. - Maintain compliance with mission and service standards. - Expect excellence and accountability within the team. - Follow the dress code, wearing the specified scrub color. - May be required to work differing schedules and shifts, including some weekend hours. This position is an auto-offer, contingent upon facility approval.
