BJC HealthCare System is hiring a Full-Time OR Advanced Modality Technologist for Barnes-Jewish Hospital Radiology (General Radiology South Campus - 2nd Fl MIR building) Newly increased 2025 Imaging Pay Rates!!!! $5,000 automatic Sign On Bonus for eligible candidates!!! New grads, upcoming grads, and experienced Radiologic Technologists and MRI Technologists welcome to apply!!! Position Details:

  • Working Hours: Tuesday/Thursday/Friday (6:30am-7pm)
  • 3 Day Shifts per week!!!
  • NO CALL or WEEKENDS - required!!!
  • 90 percent of time spent in OR cases
  • Operating Room
  • Running C-arm, O-arm, taking interop films, post op recovery films, setting c-arms up, sending images
    • OR experience preferred
    • Level 1 or 2 trauma experience preferred

          Overview

You will be working with an organization on the leading edge of diagnostic radiology. In fact, our radiology department is regarded as one of the top five in the United States, and performs over 453,000 diagnostic imaging examinations annually.
          Preferred Qualifications

          Role PurposePerforms diagnostic imaging procedures in at least one advanced imaging modality (defined as Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Interventional, Mammography, Bone Density, Cardiac Catheterization) on adults and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment, and quality control. Responsibilities
        • Prepares patient and equipment for procedures.
        • Performs studies independently, in on-call situations, portable exams, and other site as required by work area.Minimum RequirementsEducation
