  • Years of experience REQ: At least 2-3 years Level 1 ICU experience required.
  • First-timers accepted: Yes
  • Weekend REQ: No weekends, no call, no holidays
  • Skills REQ: Critical care experience, Inpatient, Level I Trauma Center, Phase I PACU, Dysrhythmia recognition/management, Blood Product Administration, Phlebotomy, Starting IVs, IV vasopressors, ICP monitoring, Care of Ventilated patients, General
  • Unit has own PCT/transport team
  • Unit open 24/7. Consists of 38 patient bays. Staff needed for recovery of vast array of acute post op patients. Critical care experience required as some patients require artificial airways, invasive monitoring (including ICP), transfusions, and vasoactive drugs.

      • Guaranteed Hours: 3 shifts per 13 weeks
      • No weekends, no call, no holidays
      • Pending License accepted: Yes
      • RTO Restrictions: No more than 7 days
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Patient population includes adults, occasional adolescents, and geriatric population in level 1 trauma center. Surgical patients we recover include: Neurosurgery, ENT, plastics, orthopedics, thoracic, vascular, trauma, general, colorectal, GYN, urological, electrophysiology, interventional radiology, and transplant.
