• Accurately prepares, posts, verifies and records customer payments.
• Applies credit memos to appropriate invoices.
• Research and reconcile customer accounts including unapplied payments, misapplications, and billing errors.
• Records write-offs to the appropriate general ledger accounts.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Effectively communicate with customers, internal and external, in a professional manner and through several mediums of communication. Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to operate related office equipment, such as computers, copier, and phone system.
  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to anticipate work needs and interact professionally with customers.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Understanding basic accounting principles including debit and credit entries.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to type 40+ words per minute and complete 10-key entry. Education and Experience:
    • High school diploma or equivalent required
    • One year of data entryPhysical Requirements:
      • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
